NEB (National Embroidery Bobbin) Prewound Embroidery Bobbins
When we first introduced the NEB prewound embroidery bobbin to the home embroidery world, many machine dealers told their customers that they would void their warranties if they used the NEB prewound bobbin. We find it rather amusing that those very same dealers are now not only selling the bobbins, but have elevated them to their prefered pre-wound!
The NEB prewound bobbin was developed by an embroiderer for embroiderers. The unique parallel winding ensures an even tension throughout the bobbin. The clear plastic flanges will not warp or create dust like cardboard sides. There is no waxy buildup in the bobbin chase as with sideless bobbins. The fine 60wt, 2ply polyester is perfect for embroidery. (Though, probably too thin for regular seams.) 130yds are wound onto each bobbin. You will be amazed at how long that lasts.
The "L" size is used by the vast majority of home and commercial machines.
Class 15 bobbins are a little taller than L's and have a little larger inside diameter. Brother NX, Innovis and 4000D; Janome, Babylock Ellegante, and Singer all use Class 15 bobbins. Click here for Class 15 bobbins
